Our Operations Manager, Dan Henricson, at the Bloomfield Coal Leadership Lunch in Sydney yesterday. The lunch was a great opportunity to hear from John Richards, MD Bloomfield, about the journey they have been on over the past 85 years. Bloomfield are a family owned business with two mines in the Hunter Valley. With a fascinating history of the development of their mines and the equipment they have used. During the lunch, John openly discussed the way the company has adopted new technologies. Also highlighting the challenges they have had with the mine approval process, their community activities and how they have been able to maintain their cost effectiveness through the mining cycle.
