Case Study – Asset ‘Life Cycle’ Maintenance Planning
As assets age, their condition needs to be reviewed in order to ensure the operating and maintenance plans reflect the business needs and the assets health.
In this case study, our client was looking to review and update the Asset Life Maintenance Plans (ALMP) for a combined cycle gas fired power station in South Australia, which had been in operation for 10 years. EnterpriseIS was able to assist through working onsite with the site engineering team, to review and update the current maintenance strategy, conduct Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop training packages for site operations and maintenance personnel, in how to apply the ALMP’s and use the FMEA processes.
The resulting implementation of the updated ALMP’s, budgets and processes was able to assist the site engineering team to improve the effectiveness of maintenance activities and plant reliability. The project was delivered on time and within the allocated budget, through the application of EnterpriseIS’s experience, asset management knowledge and proven methodologies.
