Training Material Development – Case StudyGlobal Iron Ore Miner - WA, Australia

Our client was the EPCM contractor for a new power station. As part of the contract, they were required to complete a defined set of deliverables, which included the training documentation and means of competency assessment for the Operations team.

EnterpriseIS had completed many of the OR deliverables for the facility and developed a detailed understanding of how to safely operate and maintain the equipment.

The EPCM contractor reached out to EnterpriseIS to develop their training deliverables for the Operations team.

The EPCM contractor was able to provide the agreed training outline and the OEM documentation. This formed the basis of “what” was included in the training.

The Operations Team had an approved Corporate Training and Assessment Standard that defined the methodology and framework for their training system. It included the training roles, means of assessment and recording of competencies. This formed the “basis” of how the training would be conducted.

EnterpriseIS commissioned one of our experienced training consultants to tailor a tried and proven training and assessment framework to include the terms and methodology used in the Standard.

The framework was then populated with the equipment, systems and hazards detail to achieve each desired competency. Answer Keys were developed to ensure a consistent standard for assessment.
